The Challenge
Balancing bold contemporary forms with traditional pitched roofs calls for a cohesive material palette, while generous glazing and layered balconies must retain the warmth and comfort of home.
The architectural challenge lies in bringing together varied rooflines, projecting balconies and a tall glazed centrepiece. Each element needs a clear relationship with the next, allowing the broad frontage to feel balanced while maintaining a strong connection to the lush tropical garden below.

The solution
Crisp white frames unify the balconies, while stone and timber introduce texture and warmth. Expansive glazing connects the home visually with its garden, and terracotta roof tiles lend a familiar character to the composition
Across the façade, natural materials soften the strong architectural lines and complement the surrounding palms. Covered terraces extend the living spaces outdoors, while upper balconies offer elevated views of the garden. The glazed stairwell forms a central focal point, linking both levels through light and transparency. Together, these elements give the home a welcoming character rooted in its setting.
